Support for the emotional side of pregnancy & postpartum

Thoughtful pregnancy- and postpartum-specific support for women navigating anxiety, uncertainty, and major life transitions, with particular care for pregnancy and early motherhood after 40.

From pregnancy through the early postpartum months, you don’t have to hold this alone.

Explore Support

If you’ve found yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious between appointments, or carrying emotional weight no one else sees — you’re in the right place.

If you’re here, you may be feeling:

  • Steady one moment and overwhelmed the next

  • Grateful for this pregnancy, yet quietly anxious or unsure

  • Pressure to do everything “right,” especially because of your age

  • Alone with thoughts you don’t always know how to name

  • Like you’re carrying more emotionally than anyone realizes

You’re not broken. You’re navigating a meaningful transition, and your emotional experience deserves care.

How I Support You

There’s no one right way to receive support. At Daisy Perinatal, care is offered in different ways so you can choose what fits best right now.

Individual Support

Personalized, private emotional support for pregnancy and postpartum — including anxiety, identity shifts, adjustment, and decision-making during major transitions.

This is a steady place to process what’s coming up and receive care shaped around your real needs.

My Approach

My work is grounded in compassion, clarity, and real-life support.

I help women feel steadier in moments of uncertainty, without minimizing their experience or rushing their process. Support doesn’t end when the baby arrives; emotional care during early postpartum is just as important as care during pregnancy.

This work is informed by the Kindred M.A.M.A. Method, a framework designed to honor both the emotional depth and the practical realities of pregnancy and motherhood.

There’s no fixing here. Just space, support, and steadiness.

About Me

Hi, I’m Shelly Lucas, founder of Daisy Perinatal Health & Wellness and a mom who had children at 45 and 47. I created this work because I saw how many women were carefully monitored medically — while quietly carrying the emotional weight alone. I’m especially passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and the early postpartum months, when expectations are high and support often drops away. You deserve care that honors your full experience.

You’re welcome to move at your own pace.

Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, or the space in between — you don’t have to do this alone.
